perfect example of how to pack 10 pounds of Stuff into a 5 pound bag!!!!!!!

Nobody, and I mean nobody wires up a 12th like ODpurple! i know, shameless plug there for his work. I've witnessed his wiring magic at Timezone II when he's traveled up here into the Northwest. Take a long hard look at that video and see how he wired that novak gtx......he solder the leads out the bottom! Clean, low center of gravity, everything in it's proper place. Nothing even comes close to touching the body. I'm just sayin He's a gitterdoneclean kinda guy

He's been asked a couple times before....Howd You Do that? see link, it'll blow yer mind. Oh, and good luck with yer tinkerin, alot of us are in the same boat.

12th scale gallery (Post your pics... body on and body off)

Yea he is good at making cars very nice. We first raced together in 85'...lol

I think it was the whole briggs vs. cambell north vs. south series

Be nice to have those series again between TQ and Norcal

Thats funny, a few days ago when I took my 12th apart and was cleaning I thought about the L bracket idea on the sides of the battery too. I set up the configuration with battery in middle (dry run) and was running into the body not fitting right situation. Maybe differant bodys would work but not the ones I had, or new bodys could be formed. It looked cool anyways and seemed to be Ideal for weight ballance. I will have to wait and see how OD's car works to see if I like the battery over to the side.

The "L" bracket idea has been around a while.
The F-104 uses this configuration.

I hope the 12th scale version isn't as Ill-Handling as that car.

What's up Team Denied....

Hi David I hope you are well

Unfortunately I brought Team Denied to an end

Right now I'm just wishing I lived near TQ just to do lap times for 12th scalers

I will be racing at Norcal in the future but am starting from scratch and it costs about 1500 minimum to get back into it ...lol

Let me know how your 12th scale is going

We are testing the new hub now. So far it works perfectly. If all goes well it should be available in a few weeks. Can't show a pic yet but here's a spy shot of something else:

I just wanted to Thank Larry for helping me get my Rebel on the track this weekend. The car is simply dialed. I cant wait to run it at the IIC. I just hope i can learn to drive 1/12 scale by next weekend.

Dude,,,Jerry!!! You just got the rebel on the track now!!! You've been missing out 12th scale is so easy with the Rebel. My first time out with the Rebel was my 3rd time racing 12th scale ever. It was so easy to drive and fast right out of the box. You will love 12th scale bro see you at the IIC
