1st time running the car today at my local indoor carpet track and out of the box I was a full second faster than my other 12th scale. Ran about 6 packs and I was very consistent almost all my laps were within .2/sec. Over all very happy with the car. Trying to go a little stiffer in the damping tubes next time out

All the kits being packaged now have the Version 2 arms. All the kits sold by TOP USA have the V2 arms

Ran the car today ran very well getting my laps faster and more consistant. I changed the side links and removed the side springs and Im going to try it out this week I can still use the side plates only and I can also use them with the springs.

Not quite your average 12th sclae event, however last weekend we had our State Title, TOP rebel qualified 1st and 3rd, and finished 1st and 2nd (Orange and pink cars)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VFBP...eature=related

A frustrating track to race on as runtime was a major problem, had to go very sedate on the horsepower, only a 6.5t with minimal boost.
I would have loved to try a 3.5 on max boost But i guess we would scare the 8th scale guys We were matching the recent Nitro Tourer times

Testing went well last night ,I ran the car with the graphite side plates and eliminated the side springs and it ran very well. made some minor changes from the kit set up. The kit set up was good but i had just a little too much chassis roll on the sweeper. I went to 30000 in the damping tubes and went to a AE red shock spring, that eliminated the roll and made the car almost flat through the sweeper.

Bad choice in motors for the main had a bad sensor .

hopefully i can get to the track this friday to try some front end changes.

That look's like great fun, running a 12th car on a big track like that. What sort of gearing did you run with the 6.5's?? I have a couple of big tracks like that near where I live so would n't mind trying out on of my 12th cars on those tracks

Cheers, Chris.
