Also gets rid of the shitty 2.5mm screws for the reear wheels.
You just need to add extra shimming to the left hub (4mm from memory) I just used a Bearing, but you could use the TOP shims for a cleaner look.

I alreeady changed most of the screws.

Was thinking about machining the face of the hub, and see if that works.

Default Left Rear Hub

If you set up the equipment correctly, machining the hub works. Dial Indicator agree's.

It's weak enough already !! You're just asking for an even quicker failure by turning the gink out. My third left hub is CRC (sadly)

is it possible to re-tap the hub to accept 3mm screws for the wheels?

Thanks!

Yes, but you should check your wheels to see that the screw head will fit. Most wheels were made for an american socket cap 4/40 screw and I believe the socket cap on the 3mm is slightly larger.

I really don't have an issue with the 2.5mm once you get good screws. Corally has used them since they re-designed from the clips.

How many of you Rebel owners are interested in lowered steering blocks? I know they are supposed to be reworking the molds for the lower arms. The few that I have made so far will accept the stock axles as well as the threaded axles.
