i stated my setup on a very high grip carpet around 5 pages earlier in this thread. today, the carpet has a little less grip. i had to change tires to S-Grip all around. but still was able to fight against the fastest M-05s.

i ran 16.0 sec fastest lap times only one lap of the m-05s was faster. (15,9)
unfortunately i made to much mistakes, although i did not make much, but they were to much :roll eyes:
6 minutes runs and at the end 1 second difference between 1st-2nd-3rd-and 4th place
so it was fun to driving in with the m-05s in the same speed-league *g*
Congrats Aitutaki!

So you did a great job again!
On our carpet track,I always prefer the 60d M-Grips over the S-grips, as I found them to have more grip on a carpet surface than the S-Grips, although rubber should be softer. Probably nothing new for you, but if you maybe need even more grip...

Keep on the good work,
Happy new year from Germany,
Matthias

but this year 2 races will be held in Linz, this is only 90km from Salzburg.
would be nice if you would join us

Thanks Matthias,
but to be honest, i do believe a really good driver, who would not make any mistakes during driving, would have won the race, because the setup of the m-06 was really fantastic for yesterdays carpet surface.
i still need a lot more of training, to prevent these mistakes , but nevertheless i am really happy about yesterdays 3rd final position, because it made that much fun to fight wheel on wheel with those other fast guys 16 entries for M, have been a new record for us *g*
cheers
Flo

this was the track, but i only made a pic of the B Main...

Donīt bother too much about your 3rd place, itīs the fights wheel to wheel that make the hobby! And if you know, you did the mistakes yourselfs, you can be o.k. with the result! For me itīs this way at least! Winning is nice, but to know to be competitive is what makes the fun in the end and making it easy to accept every result in the end.

Very nice track you have, but would really like to know, how you fix all these carpet pieces together?

Br,
Matthias

Has anyone tried running a staggered setup? Different size tires front to back. Wondering how it would affect handling - my S2000 (real car) has narrower front tires than the back, for example.

Welcome in this best thread for the M06, Fritz!
If youīre able to still get an M06 R, take the chance. It has some special parts, that you can not get as single parts or other kits. (clamp weights, lower shock mount).
And regarding setup, you can ask your Racebuddy Aitutaki.
He knows, how to set this beast up!

Br,
Matthias

It is possible if you are good at fabricating parts.

Most likely not. Its a hatchback and has no rear over hang for the motor. You basically need a car that has a trunk for the M06

The Titan Blitz Volvo C30 shell fits perfectly on the M06 and that is a hatchback.
