If you had your choice, what body would you put on the M06?

If I had my choice it would be anything by an American car company.

I feel that way about all of the TCS classes though.

Beyond that, I would just like to see a few more choices that fit the M06 properly.

Right now, every M06 at our track is running the S15 Silvia

i really did try all of this , to improve the handling with Type A tires .

shift weight back -> shorty lipo in the very rear end.
lower rear ride height and rise front height -> done
reduce front camber -> yes
stiffen front -> yes - Hard sway bar installed and hard springs (rear: soft springs)

but only the rear sway bar did not meet my expectations about a better handling *g*

and yes: i also can confirm, that i had to struggle when entering some very fast corners. when my competitors can use full throttle in this corners i had to leave the full throttle position. in my video you can see that i always lost some tenths in the corner just before the long straight. but the fastest lap time was more or less the same. so i must have been faster oftenly in the other corners....

so the big thing is , to get even more grip in the front but prevent some grip roles
Were you running type A all around or just in the front? Have you tried s-grip in the rear and type A in the front on asphalt?

So what you are looking for now is a little more front grip so you don't drift wide on high speed corner entry?

Sometime that can be done with a quick weight transfer to the front tires. Then quick on the gas again. Kind of like stock racing the old days.

More rwd mini bodies would be nice. In fact more mini bodies over all would be nice. I would like to see a Lotus Europa for m06.

1:1 scale equivalent to M chassis would be equivalent to a 4 cylinder race class, 1.2 to 2.0 litre. The 4 cylinder american pony cars would not look scale on an M chassis, plus thats what you have VTA class for.

From the 60s / 70s the only american cars I can think of would be a Ford Capri (technically Brit) Chevy Corvair.

ABC Hobby has a lot of bodies that will work on the SWB of the M06. HPI also has the Porsche RSR, Datsun 510, 240Z, and Toyota Levin.

Maybe you can put in a swelled up lipo so when you crash, it will be like the real Pinto. Lol

Lol

How about strapping the LiPo to the back of the body for the desired effect

I also ran the HPI MX5 body on my M06 once. You'll need lower body mounts for the rear part, otherwise, the rear end will be mounted a lot higher. It was a pretty good handling body.
