Thanks for the advise, I'll try that this weekend if the changes i made (pulled the top of the shocks in, and spacing out the rear a bit based off a friends set up) dont help.

The Tamiya body is way too big,
There is a CR-Z body made by a company called Spice that may fit, however you may be out of luck with the space at the rear. There's more rear space than a Mini body but I'm not sure it's enough for the M06.

Does anyone know what the part number is for replacement tops for the 54000 M-Chassis shocks. Specifically the top plastic part that snaps onto the pivot ball. I've googled, searched here, and searched Tamiya's site, including the "Parts Finder", but haven't been able to find them.

Just build an M06 and moving my shocks over from my 5yr old, very well used M03, and realized the plastic is very worn out.

Just in case my description is bad, it's the black plastic parts in the attached picture just below the blue aluminum shock bodies. Third row from the top left hand side.

Thanks in advance.

Could any body post some pics of the new Mazda RX-7 body? Its part number is 58493 and I have seen pics in several webs like tamiyablog. I think it's going to be released very soon because some shops have already listed it.

Does anyone running their M-06 have an opinion on running a ball diff? I was thinking about installing one. Is it worth it? I figure the gear diff is good on carpet, but wouldn't mind an opinion.

My opinion for rear wheel drive cars is to keep the diff as loose as possible for maximum rear grip.

With a ball diff you have narrow window of having it loose but not slipping and having it slip. If the diff slips a lot then it'll wear out pretty fast.

With a gear diff there is no slip and you can run it with a thin coating of light grease.

So, I prefer and do use a gear diff in my M06.
