Skeptical of the layout as a rear engine design might have an oversteer pendulum effect on corner exit. M04 seems to be the correct design.

But come to think of it, the layout of the battery and motor reminds me of 2wd off-road buggies like my RC10. This layout might work. Time to buy and test.

What's going on with all the M06 owners?

They have a surplus of M06 kits ... but a shortage of digital cameras?

I just got mine tonight. It's built, but not set up yet. Interesting build.. really reminds me of an sc10/b4/etc. It feels a little on the heavy side though. Will have to weigh it. One thing I think is cool is that it's easier to remove the transmission gears now. Doesnt require you to take the whole rear end apart. One panel and they slide out. The diff would still be a pain to get to, but that's unavoidable. I also dont like e-clip hinge pins, so I used the good old fashioned screw style pins. The radio tray is pretty small, my 101bk ESC and spektrum micro rx just barely fit.

My camera is broken, so here are some cellphone pics:

Hi ZiG-87,

Thanks for the pictures and the report. Cellphones can take pictures too? hehe, who would have thought

So what size pinion does it run? are there only 3 options for pinions like on the M03/M04/M05? or can you run any size?

I think it is fixed and same ratio as the M05

I'm race with Zig-87 and I also got an Mo6 yesterday along with a few other people from our club. I'm sure there will be at least a couple of these on the track on friday night, stay tuned for a report on how they drive.

There are the first M06 action videos on Youtube. I can't post them because I haven't got enough messages.

Thanks for the pics ZiG-87, your M06 looks great. Which bodyshell are you going to run? When I've got mine I'll run one of the two Alpine A110 which I bought on eBay at a very low price, hehe.

I've got a miata body all ready to go for mine. And yeah, it uses the 16/18/20 pinion combo.

If I really tried, I could bring it out for practice tonight, but I think I'm just gonna wait til tomorrow, since I havent set the ride height or wheel alignment yet. For anyone wondering, the kit comes with +2 degree toe rear hubs. I was going to use the 1.5deg aluminum hubs from my m04, until I noticed that.

Thumbs up

Lots of them in my area.

First race with them should be this weekend.

The worst part is it seems a lot of bodies don't fit and sway bars from M05 don't fit either?

It's a nice kit for the price. Comes with S-grip tires and stainless hinge pins.

If I didn't already go to Japan for Mini, I would pick one up in a heart beat.
