Are you planning on running a mod motor?

Will the 3racing Gear Diff work with the Tamiya Gearbox?
What weight lube has been working best?

Yes it's designed for the M05/M06. I run the M05 ball diff. Check one or two pages back.. There are some diff oil weights listed.

This what I run

60wt / yellow fr, 60wt / blue rear. Gear diff, I will let someone else chime in since I run ball diff. Ride height 5 mm rear and 4 mm front. I also run 1 degree rear up rights, camber - 2 in rear and front 0 degree. I also run with zero toe out in front

I ran these tires this weekend on a medium to low grip carpet and they hooked up well. I ran the mediums in the front and the softs in the rear with hard inserts in both.

Shimizu are nice tyres. For inserts I use the sweeps pink soft insert all around.. the inserts that come with Shimizu are not very good.

ok thanks , last question !! shock lenghs ??

i ran the car tonight , it was ok , found it a bit inconsistent , played about with springs , it either was spot on , understeer , or grip roll !!

, however i did find a problem with the front shock tower ( it was loose ) , that will proburly exsplain why it would digg in the spool the diff up !! will change the pistons for next week ..

In the front I have 3 o rings, basically not droop whatsoever. Rear I have full shock length.. You need it because it's hard to keep the car at 5mm ride height.

I raced again last night against the field of 1/18. The same 2 fast guys held 1st and 2nd and I consistently was 3rd. I worked on increasing my confidence with corner speeds and smoother transition in the infield. It's starting to pay off.

We race on asphalt and yesterday was super windy as well.. Nonetheless I had very consistent traction.. Not bad for a RWD!

Dusted off my m06 for a run yesterday and was very happy with where I got the car to.

Qualified 3rd, finished 2nd. Only 06 in a field of 05s. Medium outdoor, boral asphalt paint.

Mid wheel base, Ride BRZ body. Standard battery, reward position.

Ride SC32 rear, and MC34 front all on inch up rims.

Yellow front spring blue rear, 60wt oil front and rear. 3 hole pistons. Option rear damper stay, outward mounting position, standard lower arm mounting.

1.5 rear toe.

Ball diff, alloy rear stiffeners and lower front plate are the only other hop ups.

The car was really good on this setup, still hunting for a little more on power steering, but it's very close.
