tc4 setup
 

hey does anyone no a good setup for parking lot racing.

Check out rc10.com for their setup sheets, look for asphalt in the track info, also dig thru the tc4 thread further down someone should have a setup there.

Associated has several on their web page. Used to have more before they updated the web page last week.

I have a few basic settings for my TC4s to get them running good in my local parking lot. I use these with my standard TC4, Team kit and Factory Team kit. I just bash them around in a parking lot so I am sure there are better setups out there, but for me, these settings work great. The car hooks up good, feels very solid through turns and it can be pushed pretty hard without losing control.

Front: -1 degree of camber, 1 degree of toe out. Shock collar threaded down 6.1mm with blue springs. Upper shock mount in 2nd hole (from center) and lower is using the outer position. Droop is set to 6 using the guage

Rear: -2 degrees of camber, 3 degrees of toe in (-2.5 on my FT). Shock collar threaded down 5.8mm with blue springs. Upper shock mount is 3rd hole (from center) and lower is using the outer position. Droop is set to 4.

Make sure the diff is very smooth and not too tight. If it is setup smooth and loose, it drives very well and hardly ever spins out. The front one-way really makes it stick around tight corners. The solid one-way works good too, but I have broken 2 of them with too much power. Tires make a big difference too.

If anyone sees any problems with my setup, please let me know. I am always tweaking to get them running a little better.
