Which Brushless Set up for on road TB-03
I have been reading a lot out Brushless set ups and cant seem to get an exact answer to using the below set up;
EZRUN 60A + 5.5T and a 23 pinion
- What is the difference between 5.5T, 9T and 11T?
- For an on road TB-03 chasis what is the best set up for speed? (ie for highest top speed)
- For an on road TB-03 chasis what is the best set up for torque? (best acceleration on short tracks)
- What is the best compromise between the two?
- Will I need a specific battery to run this?

The difference between 5.5T 9T and 11T the the power of the motor, the lower numerical turns there is, the higher power you get. I'm not sure if running a 5.5T with a 60A esc will give you good performance.
You don't need a specific battery to run this ESC, any battery for rc cars will do. NICD, NIMH, LIPO etc.

Get the tamiya metal diff's. The standard plastic diff outdrives will break with that sort of power.
If you just want a fun car(not racing), then the Ezrun 35A/9T is more than fast enough for that chassis. Reliable & cheap. . I have this in my TB03 (and my mini & drifter)
9T is a completely different motor from the 5.5T. Have a look at the pictures. The 9T is smaller with cooling fins to make it look bigger.
