Default Tamiya F104W Wolf WR1

Hi All,

I have been trying to find information on what foam tyres will fit the new Tamiya Wolf WR1. I was informed that the tyres that come with the kit will not provide traction.

Does anyone know of a set of wheels with foam tyres that will suit?

I would like to get wide foam tyres for the rear to keep a simular appearance.

I am new to F1 and I have searched the net but have not found any information regarding this new release F1 car.

Any information would be great.

I believe it's just the standard F104 wheels. Try the HK websites like RCMart and RCMushroom for Tamiya stuff. They are cheap and have most stuff in stock. I think A-Main also has some F104 stuff.

NAH---use 103 foams--they are wider in the rear

Aren't the rear tires taller on the vintage F1 cars as well? I really hope Tamiya continues to release these older F1s. I think they are way better looking than the new stuff. I have secret fantasies of a vintage F1 class

Hi,
I bought this kit, just itchy to get another F104, and couldn't resist a classic F1. Didn't like the rear rubber, and no problem of finding a suitable foam for it. Just use foam for F103 chassis, and no problem. The main concern is the front, as most foams for F103 are bigger and wider than the stock rubber. I don't know if the option foam for Tyrell 6-wheeler will fit nicely at the front since they are smaller in size compare to the normal front foam for F103...
