Best servo for ta05v2
Hi, i need to get a servo for my ta05v2. I have futaba in my other rc and am happy with it., but would like to know the best one for the ta05v2. I have read there are digital and brushless. Are they better. will be using for racing. I looked on the futaba site and there is sooo many to choose from. Thanks

Digital and brushless tech in servos has increased performance - but there are still very good analogue/brushed servos available too.
Futaba is one of the best brands and would be a wise choice. They also tend to fit Tamiya cars well.
Look for 0.1s/60deg speed, and 6kg/cm torque for touring.
From the current Futaba range, the S9402 (analogue), S9452 (digital), S9551 (digital low profile), BLS451 (brushless) and BLS551 (brushless low profile) are all excellent touring servos.

S9402.....A classic workhorse!
But for the tight confines of the TA05, ya gotta go with the low-pro servos.

I'm starting to warm up to Savox's servos. Coreless and metal gears

Futaba 9551 is great, I have two personally.
Also the Orion Vortex 1009 is good.
Another to consider would be the KO Propo 2413
