Hi guys,

Im looking at buying a new charger. (second hand new ) LOL

I have always had my eye on the CDC V6/integy 16x5 V6, but today i found a integy 16x7 at a good price.

Just wondeing what difference's between the 16x5 and 16x7 and what is the better of the 2?

The thing i like abvout the 16x7 is that i wont require a power supply as its ac/dc

Go to Integy's web site.They have a comparison page.Basic diffs...x7 is ac/dc,x5 not. X5 has the torpedo function X7 does not.

16 X 7 will charge up to 6.5 amps, and discharge up to 30 amps.

1 to 8 cells, and has a 5 year warrenty.

Guys,

My Backlit fails intermitently now. It works when I power up the charger when cold but it goes off after using it from a while. If I rest it some hours later it work again..then goes off ..

Does anyone know how to fix this? I know the module is sold in Integy website but i cannot keep on buying replacement unless the one sold separately now is a better one that wont fails.

I am pretty sure it is not due to some loose connection problem as I have checked. Any ideas please?

Another guy posted some time ago, that it often is a bad connection. So it might help to disassemble, dis-connect and connect the connector again. But you'll ruin the warranty....
