If anyone wants to watch the Mod 10.5 oval cars go big, head over to the webcams, they're up in a few races. I'm not much of an oval guy, but this class runs close, fast, and wrecks big.

AE's 12th car is pretty much a 12r5.1 with a top deck, it allows them to run the battery down the center from front to back (like a TC) and they can put the ESC beside the battery. It sounded like they are just testing some carbon fiber parts but it seems to have better handling with this layout.

Hmmmmm, sounds like a Trinity EV12 from about 15 years ago.

It'll be cool to meet you. I'll bring my new CRC for you to check out. I don't have it ready to race yet.

How long will they do they on road course?

Fischer is (I assume) running the "Phi X" prototype. He had it at the TC Euros in the Summer. Quite a lot of changes from the current car like you say. When I spoke to him there, he didn't know a release date or anything as they were still testing a lot of parts. I'd imagine they are much closer to a production version now though!
