Why would anyone run negative timing unless you're using reverse rotation on purpose.

When timing was introduced on brushless motors, I instantly thought about the good old days tweaking brushed motors.

Can you provide some dyno readout for the 13.5, 17.5?

Thanks

I don't know about Murfdogg motors but on most brushless motors, 0 isn't 0. So setting the endbell at minus 5 could still be +5.

With boosted esc's, you usually want little or no motor timing and use the esc's boost and/or turbo functions to get the timing you want.

Brushless motors have timing built into the sensor boards. The timing marks on the can are reference points, not actual static motor timing.

I can provide Dyno numbers. However, unless you use the CE Turbo Dyno like I do, and run it at the same settings I use in a controlled environment, the Dyno Sheet will not tell you much. It will look like a piece of paper with numbers that you have no reference to. I do not use the Fantom Dyno which bases its numbers off RPM and Amp draw. My dyno gives the motor a true load, which is the only way to actually Dyno a motor with usable results.

What kind of useful info are you looking for? I would be more than happy to do what I can to help you with whatever you are trying find out about these motors.

Matt

Got to run my 13.5 today. Motor has awsome bottom end. I was able to put a bigger pinion on and still had punch to spare. After 8 had minutes motor was only 136 degrees. Great motor. Murf I will be ordering some more motors very soon. Thanks for a great BL motor.

Default Stock Update

17.5 and 13.5 motors are out of stock. I have another batch on the way, and am hoping they are here end of the week... fingers are crossed. 10.5, I only have 1 or 2 left right now. 4.0, 4.5, 5.5, 6.5 turn Mods are in stock and ready to ship.

Thanks for all of the Support guys!
