Thanks Wheelman and MurfDogg.

(example: -10 degrees static, 40 degrees boost for an effective +30 degree advance at full rpm)

Thanks for any help.
We do not publicly disclose board timing. Instead, we suggest 0 degrees max endbell timing for boosted classes.

HyperMike - You will be just fine.... the 17.5 motor comes stock with a 12.3 mm rotor, which is good for ost applications. If you need more torque, you can switch to the 12.5 spec rotor, which is looking good in NON BOOSTED SCT and TC.

Default New from MurfDogg

Introducing the first complete Dirt Oval Racing Chassis, soon to be released from MurfDogg Racing:

The Nitro "DEVIATOR"

Deviator - (noun) - To stray from normal purpose.

The Nitro Deviator is the first complete purpose built Dirt Oval truck kit. No longer must you purchase "Aftermarket" shock towers built with undesirable suspension geometry to have yourself a "Dirt Oval Truck." This racing chassis is designed to have all of the tuning options of purpose built Late Models and Sprint Cars. This is NOT your typical offroad truck that will be driven around an oval. Purpose built from the ground up, every feature of this truck has a purpose. Designed with just the right amount of adjustments to get you dialed in, but not allow you to overtune yourself right out of the ballpark. The Nitro Deviator will be available in two forms; Nitro EDM/CDM and Nitro Truck configurations.

Look for the Nitro Deviator to be released early Summer 2011.

do you have a suggested mod setup for 1/12 at TQ? (wind and esc for max drivability)

my spares box is overflowing, so i thought this might be a way to reduce the clutter.

We have been running a 4.5 with Tekin RS. Talk to Berger about exactly what he is doing. He keeps on asking for less and less punch... so He has it figured out pretty good.

hey Matt, its all relative. if Dave is a little inconsistent with less than a 6.5, that translates to nearly undrivable for others.
