Interesting Info On The New Sanyo 3600's
Came across this the other day on SMC's website. I'm a little relieved. My new GP 3300's won't be obsolete after all.

Thats an awful good bunch of GP's :weird: Atleast half 1.17's & some 1.18s
I think the GP sheet is bullshit (in terms of it being random)....I could belive the Sanyo one...There are some okay volatages but the IR is huge I do like being able to get matched SMC 1.170's for $40 though |

The SMC sheet is pretty normal actually. 1.17's were hard to come by when GP first released the new "shorty" cells. Fukuyama would get a batch together and be sold out litterally in minutes, that's how scarece they were. But they've been in stock for more than a month now and the cells are just getting stronger. And SMC is not the only matcher that is not going to even touch the Sanyos. The GP's have about the same capacity and better voltage and IR on average so there's no reason to go away from what works until they come out with a cell that has consistantly higher voltage and lower IR.

It's going to be really really difficult to beat the current GP cells.

probably GO will release cells better than tha gp3300....
but it will take loooooooong |
Who is that?

i agree.. my local matcher just got 6 cases in... 90% of the cells are 1.16+-1.18+....
the batch before this one it was hard to get a mid to high 1.16 cell out of... the new cases def have better cells i just got 2 4 cells packs.. 1.184+ on both... but runtime is in the 390's... but i run stock so who needs runtime lol hgive me voltage |
I need new cells...f*k
|
Well, I'm looking at it this way, since the 3600 cells have more capacity, shouldn't they experiment with the matching process before just puting that information out, like mess with the cutoff, charge, discharge, ect.
|
I see your point, but any time a matcher strays from the industry standard matching parameters it makes it very difficult to compare one cell to another.
|
my matcher says the 3600's also cost a lot more than GP's
|
I'm sure they do considering Trinity is the exclusive U.S. distributor. Fortunately, Trinity doesn't have exclusive rights for GP cells, so their cost is more reasonable.
