Default AMB Loop diagram.....

AMB Loop diagram.....

Does anyone have a diagram for the AMB loop?

Is it just the COAX into the box then split into the 18AWG wire or is there other goodies inside the box?

Thanks for any help.....

Yeah man. Hmm, that might be cheap...but I haven't got a quote on a gremlin in a while... My quote is atleast 2 years old, they maybe have gone up in price since then.

There is a lot of little stuff in the box. A couple weeks ago, we tried to take out the box because a solder joint had come undone inside it, but we soon found out that with that out, it allowed the transponders to count if you passed over the wire that led to the computer. It also picked up a lot more noise(radio interference) without the box and it caused it to miss counting a lot of people.

It should look something like this. Just solder wire ends to the Coax and put the 680 ohm resistor in the middle of the wire. Remember to waterproof. If you use low quality Coax, the coax may pick up transponders. With well shielded, undamaged Coax cable it should work perfectly.
