OK, thanks to you, I understand their rational better now.

Roy, yes, that would be good. Although mine will be just for fun, the only pan car racing around here us F1 and 1/12.

I think you'll find it was Parma's Aston Martin DB9 shell that started that - I am pretty sure the Sophia came out as a reaction to it

The Sophia was on sale from October 08, the DB9 didn't appear on sale until March 09.

The BRCA GT10 rules in the UK are almost identical to ROAR WGT, with the main difference being including specs for electrics (1S boosted 10.5T), and having a wider range of bodies, like this one classic Group C car:

To avoid it going too crazy, the requirements are that there's a split wing, rather than the integrated spoiler with side fins that's common with 1:12 and 1:8 bodies.

Lots of people are liking the bodies, for sure!

I'm a Group C tragic and have bought Group C bodies for any of my cars that will fit them. Probably one of the greatest eras' of racing ever.
(if you're a sim nut, try the Rfactor Group C mod, it's fantastic).

Thanks.
They also have a groovy 1/12 VW beetle that I'd SO love to set up on an RC12L.

Stormer Hobbies has the McAllister Nissan GTP. The one they have is the next iteration from the one in the link. I believe it is/was the NPT-90.
