Which body shell is that? Colt 911 GT1?

And what chassis is that? Some intriguing tires, there...

It is probably the Tamiya 911GT1 body and F103LM chassis.

Anyone running speedpassion LMP bodies? What wheelbase and width is ideal for that body?

I have an F104 with wider f103 rear wheels and f103 wide front track. I'm hoping a Nissan r91cp body will fit as I think that has the best scale look so far? I would love an old Porsche Rothmans scale body.

I adore GT1 cars. I just picked up a vintage CLK GTR from Tamiya.

My big find was last week... A Jaguar XJR-15. Not the 14 or the 9... But the "road car". Apparently Parma made it. Anyone know of this shell?

Also if anyone has an uncut Tamiya Porsche 911 GT1 (1996/1997 TA03R-S) I'd love to buy it from you.

Let me check my stash at home. I know for sure I have that body. Unsure if it is uncut and if the parts sprue is complete. I've owned a couple of those bodies and a few of the decal sheets. Let me see if I can round up a complete set.

Excellent! I can live with cutout, please do see. I have decals and can recreate any missing decals (graphic artist). PM me when you've found something.

The inspector is right, a F103LM with the GT1 Tamiya shell, Pit rubber on stock F103 rims, custom driver helmet and rear-view mirrors

I'm chewing my nails holding on from buying one of the the Kyosho Plazma Porsche's ....

And... Anyone interested in selling a Tamiya 1/10 Mazda 787-B Body/Wheels?

Has anyone tried one of these? -

I'd love a Porsche for my WGT chassis. I've looked at the RJ Speed, Colt and Corally Porsches, but they all have a feature or two that doesn't look right. This one looks OK (only pics of the clear body though), but I'm unsure of the quality.

Edit: After another look, it resembles the Colt body. Might be a copy

I have used it on a Associated 10R5 with 2x 1S lipo 10.5 boosted and it handles great.
Enough down force and good steering to.
Tires bsr purple rear and double purple front.
Track, mach Heemstede Holland.

Regards Roy

It is my understanding that ROAR WGT rules do not allow for a body representing a car with a rear engine/rear drive configuration. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks Roy, that sounds like a fun setup! Have you tried this one by comparison? -

Nutdriver, I think you're right. I just want a Porsche for fun, and there's no ROAR WGT racing around here (I'm in Australia).

RJ Speed makes a decent 962 body in 200mm.

I believe you are right. A quick look at the ALMS page shows that half the manufacturers enter rear or mid engine cars. AND all of our scale chassis are mid motored. Unless the rules have changed, it leads me to believe the rules makers are woefully out of touch with the series they are trying to emulate.

The "rules makers" for WGT were ordinary members on here who created a set of rules to try and kick start a 1/10 pan class locally using more realistic bodies than Pro10.
By introducing a front engined car rule it ensured firstly that it prevented wedge shape bodies entirely that were around at the time without having to arbitrarily judge whether a body is eligible or not, and secondly it limited the effects of aerodynamics on performance, until Protoform came out with the Sophia.
