I thought the Plazma LM chassis and body were longer than normal 12th scale?

Still no Jaguar!

Team Blue Groove on E-Bay makes Several pretty nice Jags. Not as detailed as the Japanese bodies but not bad.

I got the AE Grp 44 Jag and the XJR-9 from them. Need to get HPI XJR-14. At least with Kyosho or Tamiya you get decals.

AE had 1/10th XJR-9 and someone produced a XJR-14 or 16 1/10th back in the day also.

Back to the RC, rear pod view with the diffuser

With head lights :

Note the gurney flap on the wing on the last picture for improving downforce.

About the car behaviour, the diffuser add a lot of rear stability but it's still instable at high speed. with the addition of the gurney flap, the car push a lot

I will try to make video when I have some time :-)
Please post the video

The Plazma LM chassis has a 233mm wheelbase, the bodies are too long for a normal 1/12th scale.

Default I love all prototypes !

I hope its alright to post these here. I fell in love with the Super Barchetta series in Italy. They race 1/10 4WD touring car chassis w/ Nitro motors with 235 mm Lola bodies ! Now, I'm not into Nitro so my sons and I tried it out with the Lola body on our vintage Losi XXXS chassis' w/ 3.5 turn motors. Here are some pics of fantasy LMP Ferrari, fantasy LMP Red Bull ( both using the Lola body ) and a car that killed the Can Am, an attempt at a 917-30 ( using a modified Stormer 1/10 TOJ body.

we used 50mm wide Pancar tires in the rear with aluminum Cobra adapters to touring car and 44.5 mm wide Super Barchetta rear tires for the front ( they are already on 12 hex wheels. All tires and rims are Xceed in matching shore hardness.

And last, the car that killed the Can Am :

Upcoming bodies ( in a while ) are Le Mans winning BMW, Jaguar, Porsche 962, Porshe 956, Porshe 917k, Toyota and a fantasy shot at a Lotus LMP2 and the 1975 CAM2 version of the 917-30.

If you need to remove PS paint Body Cleaner by Dynamite is the right stuff!

The product seems to have changed to:
Dynamite Nitro Force: Nitro Car Cleaner, DYN5505

anybody has experience with it?

Thanks!

I still have an unpainted Protoform version of the 911GT1 body. Still have a couple of NIB Tamiya Toyota TS020 (one painted, one not). While it's a GT1 body, not a Group C, DeltaPlastikUSA sells a 200mm wide Panoz GT1 that I really like.

Post a photo, is it the open or closed Panoz?

I have a 190mm Parma Panoz LMP07 body (the 2nd open cockpit car), a Parma 190mm closed cockpit GTR/GT1 body (neither painted). I also have a 200mm closed cockpit GT1/GTR body by DeltaPlastikUSA that is painted with the Visteon livery from 1997/1998. I'll have to dig up some pics.
