Does the M-8 use single or dual conversion crystals?

Jack, I've had the receivers and crystals for 4 or 5 years and to be honest I really do not know how to tell the difference. Help me out here. When I got them, I was still using an XL2P then I took the innards(same size) from the modile for the XL2P and transferred them to the 3PS. Then when the M8 came out they changed everything, so this is the history, but as far as dual or single, I really don't know. Are there any markings that would tell me, on the receivers or crystals?

Thanks

Rick

How come the M8 limited backlight isn't blue like Airtronics said? I just saw one and it was green?!?!?

Why do the recievers come with a crystal? Is it possible to get just a transmitter crystal to match. Stormer only sells the reciever or both the reciever and transmitter crystals.

Sanwa doesn't sell Tx crystal alone.
Why they include a RX crystal is that you no need to change anything for using for more than 2 cars.

I'm not sure where, but I KNOW you can buy the crystals seperately from Airtronics. I bought my M8 LE in Orlando and bought the matching crystal with it.

I bought an M8 (transmitter only) and it came with the transmitter cyrstal. I bought two receiver crystals (from Futaba) at Tower Hobbies along with the transmitter for both my Novak XXL (27mHz). The crystals were pretty cheap if I remember correctly.
