Default Anyone have experience with Hitec HFS receivers?

Hi all, I'm looking at getting another receiver to go with my KO Mars R. The Hitex HFS-03MM receivers are priced quite well.

Before I get one, I was wondering if anyone else has had any experience with them.

Thanks.

I have used them before and my son has one right now. They have worked perfect.

I now run them on all my cars and trucks. There really good and a price that is way better than paying 80 to 90 bucks for my Airtronics rx units. For My Nitro I run there new one with the built in Fail safe.

I have 2 of them. At first I thought they were great. Never glitched at all. Then our track held a big race and during practice my truck was going berserk. I traded out everything. 3 motors, 2 speed controls, 2 servos, 4 sets of crystals, 2 different M8, even switched out the receiver with the other Hitech one I had. nothing worked. finally another racer lent me a Novak XXL and all was good. I still have no idea why it did it. Works great on club nights still to this day.

I won't buy another one.

Anyone tried them with a KO radio? I heard that you have to use Airtronics crystals to use them with a KO.
