Watch eBay for NIB KO Propo 2123, .06s, 132 oz-in torque, very very nice servo.

Anybody? Or are Hitec products not that good? Also, what servos do the pros use (if you are a pro, that would be cool if you could answer)?
I run all Hitec products in my cars and planes, all has worked perfectly. I use everything from their inexpensive standard servos and receivers to their top of the line stuff. No complaints at all.

Finally, some feedback on Hitec products.

Okay, one last question. How do KO Propo analog servos fare? Would they be as good as another company's digital servos? Does anybody out there use one or know anybody who uses one? If so, tell me about it.

Thanks.

I use the KO 2143...ultra smooth, metal gears and more than enough torque for EP Touring applications. Cost me 'bout $80

KO 2123 is the best on the market if you can stretch your budget a few more dollars.

2123 is running on 7.2V right ? I think I've used one of those before in my micro RS4 (very reliable)......sold the car and the servo as well.....otherwise would not have bot the new one

I use hitec 5625 mg digital servos to steer all of my 1/10 scale cars (nitro and electric). The servo puts out 120lbs. of torque w/ lightening quick speed - .10 sec. and metal gears. At under $60.00, no servo can match the bang for the buck! I love this servo!!!

Well you sure are lucky....

Anyway, I'm going to wrap this one up. Contrary to almost everything that's been said here, I am going to go with one of the new Hitec digital servos with Karbonite gears. The specs look good and the predicted wear for the gears looks awesome.

I know Hitec servos have had problems with centering in the past, but I'll give this a try.

I still won't buy a Hitec servo, even a digital. Everyone I talk to says they DO NOT center, that's enough for me.

I think you could if I'm not wrong (anyone please correct me if i'm wrong) but you won't be able to tap the max performance capability of the servo....in terms of speed..i was told. I think we could tell the difference...however to some they said they could but i think it is phsycological..'cos the manufacturer said that the servo is lighting fast.
