Questions?? tto1 m chassis conversion

hi everybody,
i have the tto1 and i want to buy the m chassis conversion kit but the thing is that i noticed that it shrinks the car down. the problem is i dont want to the car to shrink. i want it to stay the same size(1/10th scale). i noticed some people with the conversion kit but there car is still the same size. how do i keep it the same size? i noticed that the kit comes with some arms and dog bones. i think they were a little shorter. if im right can i just put the original tto1 armsand dog bones in to keep the same size? and if i do buy the kit is there any parts that i need to buy to make everthing fit correctly? i appreciate everyones help.

I think you have got 2 different 3racing chassis mixed up.
the whole point of the mchassis conversion is to shrink it down to m-chassis mini size. shorter & narrower.

If you dont want it to shrink get something else , like the 'normal' 3racing TT01 carbon kit.
I think thats the one youre really after

still a waste of money either way (& I have one), but a fun build.
Also expect to spend even more on 'upgrades' not included in the kits.

He's saying that the tt01 and the M chassis are different. The Tamiya M01-M05 chassis kit will not fit the TT01 chassis for they are apples and oranges.

They do have a conversion kit for the TT01 that changes the tub chassis to a carbon fiber one.

I had considered converting mine to that chassis until I decided to keep it stock. I'd hate to scratch up a good chassis rally racing. Keep is posted with pictures.

Default orange apple

"m-chassis" has the spec of
Wheelbase at 210mm, 225mm & 240mm
Width of 160mm to 165mm

Usual touring car has wheelbase of 260mm with 190mm in width.
(If GP then 200mm wide.)

An m-chaassis conversion need to shrink down the car size to appropriate m-chassis spec, or it won't be m-chassis.
