TC6 kits arrived at AE on Friday. They have started shipping from the AE shipping department today. The Thanksgiving Holiday will probably slow delivery to Distributors some.
Also do not fear all the kits shipped from AE will have the correct thrust washers.

"The manual also indicates that the layshaft screw is an m3x0.5x8, it isn't its a M2.5 x 0.35 x8 turst me I lost one."
This is already corrected (in the actual box) with an extra page added to the manual. What I missed is the installation of the front bulkheads to the lower chassis. For most of us it is clear, but if I imagine this would be my first TC...

One reason why all companies went to belts in the last few years is the inherent problem with shaft driven touring cars: torque steer. Not as noticable in 1/8 off-road, but touring cars are quite sensitive to it. In fact, AE had engineered an asymetric steering system for the TC3/4 to compensate for that... the steering rate and end points are different left/right. When setup as designed, the car feels the same left/right when on/off throttle in corners. But you can still feel it when you pin it or brake hard in a straight line.

Battery straps
Hi guys, just an idea to hold down the battery on the TC6. I just bought 2 lady's velcro watch bands ($6 ea). Cut them to the length i wanted and doubled the ends over to create a loop, then stitched together.
All up took me 10 mins.

Here are photos of my car ready for my C main final at the Nats, finished 25th out of 44.
The Top Photon strap is only like AUD$10 and it fits.
Once I get my second TC6 kit, I'll be modifying a top deck to hopefully remove some problems that are caused by the top deck.

Maybe AE will release a blue velcro strap *hint hint* I'm not a fan of tape, and I saw a Photon with the strap so I thought I'd use it to. I posted a link earlier to where I got mine from.
