As mentioned I am looking for suggestions. 190mm or 180mm or 200mm? Which is the best fit for TC6.1 Painted Bodies?

You need 190mm bodies.

I paint my bodies myself with a rattlecan. If you don't have two left hands it is easy. Just use Lexancolors for example from Tamiya.

Just get a Tamiya or HPI body set. Spray bomb it a solid color and use the included decals. Boom.. display quality.

The stock chassis is 2.0 and wider. One thing we have been playing with si using the old chassis narrowed down to 88mm (96mm is stock) and it seems to work good and flex a bit more than WC chassis.

If I was to get a new chassis and dont want to do anything I would get the WC chassis, it seemed to be great on both carpet and asphalt.
How is this done?

I have completely tore my TC6.1 apart for cleaning and rebuilding. I run the car on asphalt during the summer and carpet during the winter. Since its apart I could narrow the stock chassis down to 88mm. But how is it done?

Cool, I got those tools. The cutoff disc's go fast on carbon fiber. Is there anything better? I have a air grinder with a cutting wheel but its like a 3 inch wheel.

Is it worth cutting or should I leave it alone? I have a spare thats why I thought I'd give it a try.

This is my first TC6 so any help with body sizes etc. will be appreciated.
Go look in the painting forums. Find a painter with a style you like and contact them through PM. http://www.rctech.net/forum/painting...hotography-59/

I would strongly suggest buying the WC chassis. The stock chassis is a wet noodle and inconsistent in my opinion. making it narrower will make it worse. The WC chassis is superior aside from being narrower. I got mine from TQ and it was only like $56. Well worth it...

Try Bodiesbybean.com or his handle on here is dodgeboy. He paints very clean looking bodies at a good price.

I would call it good... print the manual and box and get them out!

Beginning to start making payments for my pre order...
