The TC6 is pretty dialed, but i feel like it's scrubbing a lot of speed in the fast sweepers. I can hear the front tires skipping out under these types of conditions, and it feels as if the car isn't generating enough forward speed as a result.

Are there any adjustments I can make to maintain more speed in the long high speed turns to gain more lateral grip and avoid scrubbing speed? I've tried raising the roll center slightly, but it doesn't seem to improve overall lap times much.

Thanks!

Perhaps too soft with too much roll.
-chassis dragging
- body making contact
-unweighting inside tire
-"diff out"

Raise body retaining pins
Stiffen rear springs
Stiffer sways
......more cowbell

Default TC6 FDR and min/max toothcount

Do these work for this car?
3,51 72/41 113
4,00 72/36 108
4,11 72/35 107
4,24 72/34 106
4,36 72/33 105
4,50 72/32 104
If not than which do?

Min toothcount is 102?
Max toothcount is 115?
If not, than what is?

For which pitch? 64 i'm assuming. Either way, page 29 of the tc6.1 manual shows a gearing chart. I don't know how accurate it is, but i've used as low as 88 tooth spur.

Hey guys.

I've been really happy with my tc6 in gt3 (21.5) class that I opted to get another one for 17.5 stock. It drove good the very first day after finishing it at 2 am. Its the stock set up from the book except the steering is in front like rick called for.

By the way this is a worlds car. I put a new set of sorex 32 and I can't seem to get no traction, by the time the main come at night when its cooler I'm drifting. I do need to change the rear toe insert to 0 since I have 3.5 total toe in?

Also does the rear diff bolt up or drop in for the spool? I want to do a front gear diff since I'm scared to break outdrives all the time even though I didnt crack any my first day with it

George try this setup off the Team associated web site this is the setup I went to it made my car 100 times better then it was 2 races ago. The car had grip on Sorex 32 in day and the night last race. Two races ago I tried Rick Howerts setup and my car wasn't in the track and I couldn't drive it. I do have a front diff and I have 1.0 mil diff lube now I am going to use silicone earplugs in the diff.

George, Awesome to hear you got your chassis for GT2. Look forward to running with you. I only run 32's during the first heat then switch to 28's for the second and main. But that is me. Would be interesting to see how it acts using the setup Brian posted.

As for breaking blades on the new car I have only broken 1 and that was when I broke the whole corner off the car. Other than that haven't had an issue with them. My first Worlds car was a different story. Seemed to break them every 3 heats.

I have replaced the right blade twice before I bought a reflex outdrive for the rightside of the spindle. I started running a diff last week my car was no where as good as Justins or steves cars that is why I'm going to retire my TC6 soon to VTA or GT3!

+1 on Bob's setup, it helps lock down the rear of the car

Thanks Brian. Ill do that set up tomorrow for sure. I would like to try the front gear diff. Seen a lot of people trash blades and outdrives just by kissing the walls. Heck richard has changed a bunch and two weeks ago at norcal he barely touched the little 2 inch board and there it went another outdrive. I don't hit stuff very often but when I do I won't have to fear its a 100% broke
