Magenta = 35
Purple = 40
Now here is where I am lost what do they mean by these sets
Cyan = 35/55
Plaid = 40/55

What do they mean by this 35/55 40/55

Running the links high from rear hubs forces the rear make more 'work' which means that the rear roll more. The car is more reactive when coming inside the corner. This is a good way to balance front and rear

But you know setup is one combination with some compromises

It was not included on the sheet, but Juho ran AE 50wt. oil

It works for him. If you notice he also uses very little toe-in in the rear.

Those are dual compound tires. The Cyan is magenta (35) with a thin ring of orange (55) around the outside and the Plaid is purple (40) with an orange ring (55). We used to use these on the front to keep the car from digging in the middle of the corner.

Hi Christer,

What outer ball are you running ? Short or long Neck ?
And i don't understand the diff's notes ("measure 1.6 g gear diff oil").

Thank you for all the informations.

Hey guys I'm having an issue with my tc6. My car seems really sensitive to seams and grooves wear in the carpet at the places I'm running. When I hit these spots it grabs my car. I'm a noob when it comes to non off road applications.

Most of my setup is around factory set up, but I've gone with negative toe to see if I could get my steering to center. Its so hard to run consistent when my car won't track straight. I can't trim out the problem, and I've tried numerous sets of tires (sorex 24,28, tamiya spec slicks, radios, servos just to make sure it wasn't the problem. The problem disappears on road surfaces. Whenever it hits a seam or wierd spot in carpets my car follows.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

I must have some alignment differences too, I'll double check once I get access to a nice alignment table.

Make sure your servo saver is plenty tight.

Im not saying this is the problem your having for sure, but have you tried driving a friends car to see if the same thing happens. The direction of the carpets grain affects how a car tracks. In other words, the grain of the carpet can make your car seem like its tracking to the right on one part of the track, but to the left on another part. It seems cars never track absolutely perfect on carpet, especially rubber tire cars.

I hope this might help!
