So there you go only $14.00 so you save $5.00 If you buy at Ebay.

Not everyone who sells on ebay actually has the product in hand, and you still have to factor in the bid nature of the web site, so it may actually sell for MORE than initial start bid.

Default thebigrc.com TC6 Review

I recently made the switch from a Photon to a TC6. I wrote a review of the TC6 comparing it to the Photon for thebigrc.com.

Check it out at http://www.thebigrc.com/

Hi all - can one of you lucky tc6 owner perform a quick measurement for me? I'm interested in the width of the front spool with spool cups installed.

Orlando - maybe u can bust out a pair of calipers and measure it up that freshly built car of yours

Thanks in advance from one 40t pulley runner to another!

I come up with 49.2mm assembled in the car. Interestingly enough that is exactly the same as the rear diff assembled and out of the car. Also my
U pro gear diff measures 51mm assembled in the car.

Hope this helps.

Thanks TQ. That means the width of the spool is nearly identical to the TOP Photon -- which is good. The TOP w/ their aluminum spool cups measures out at 49.25mm, and has the ability to be shimmed out up to 2mm on each side. Currently I'm working on designing a spool cup that will support the use of XRay sized axles, with the explicit intent on making their ECS anti-chatter axles working within the TOP spool. Hopefully others will see some interest in this too. If anyone is interested in learning more please PM me.

Default New Lipo Battery Holder

TF Racing have launched their fully universal carbon fibre battery tray. Made in 3mm carbon fibre they help hold batteries in place during an impact where tape would sometimes break. Light and universal it fits most touring car chassis’ and has adjustable positioning for fine tuning your chassis balance. Mounted on 2 rubber o-rings to avoid tweak, it can accept LiPo batteries up to 138mm x 47mm. larger sizes to follow.
