whats a good replacement for this part (front Spool)
thanks

The diff will be better for VTA anyways so just experiment with heavy diff goo.
500K to 1.5 million cst will work well. Later you will want to find a slipper spool for the TC6 and use that in conditions that need a locked up front end.

I know it's close but mine are not that close. The deck is not spaced up from the spur/pulley blocks, right?
Just looked. Doesn't look like it to me.

I've looked at raising the from diff, but i dont think that will give it enough clearance. Front diff is currently as low as it can be.

If that's the case, you should run the diff at the stock recommended height. It will help but something doesn't look right still. It's as if the top deck is higher than normal. One good thing is that there is no tension on the top side of the front belt under acceleration. How's the belt tension at rest, tight or loose?

Is it rubbing when you turn the pinion or do you see marks on the top deck?
If it is just the marks, then don't worry.
If not, check if the car is build like the manual suggests. Maybe the old owner did some changes...

I got a quote for the blocks yesterday and I think it's pretty fair so I may be pulling the trigger on another 30 servo mounts soon. The saver cams are a different story so if someone has a machinist who might be interested in making them and splitting the proceeds, I will be happy to share the Model files. Otherwise, we could always just use servo mounted savers instead.

Not sure if Losi makes anything 1 million and higher. If they do, it will work. This stuff, at least from Gravity, has a consistency thicker than molasses, and that's only the 1 million that I have.

I did raise it. the belt seems to be decently tight. Haven't had an onroad belt drive so I'll probably have the guys at the track give it a once over next time I go. Thanks for the help guys.
