You need the HPI Pro 4 spring cups and the Tamiya adjusters to make those springs fit right

Looking for some set up help. I just picked up a used TC6.1 WC and I'm also new to to onroad. I put in a Tekin RS Gen2 and a 17.5 Turn Tekin Gen2 Motor, which will be run on blinkey. I have an a-spec 6200Mah and running it on a mei/high grip track. 48p/87T Spur what is the largest pinion that I should be looking at running? Does anyone know what the 17.5 Turn Tekin Gen2 motor manufacturer’s suggested gear ratio is?

I can't help you with the Tekin electronics. I drive the LRP X20 17.5t and I am sure a 87 spur is too big. I would recommend 72 teeth or less. This will give you space for 32 teeth pinion and bigger. Depending on your tracksize a gear ratio between 3 and 4.5 should be useful. The X20 17.5t on a small track becomes hot below 4.3 gear ratio. I am not sure how the Gen2 motor behaves.

Hi guys
I highly recommend you try the TRF aeration dampers in combination with a cut top deck, 500wt oil and HPI silver springs. They work really well on low to mid grip asphalt with Sorex tires.
