Default TC6.1 spare parts needed

Took my new TC6.1 to a parking lot yesterday with a friend and his tc and had a blast. We set up a medium track with plastic plates and used a blower to clean the area. We are investigating other options for mobile track set ups. Noticed a few small rocks got into the spurs, cleaned them off and continued having fun.
What parts are needed to be on hand for racing in a parking lot?
How long before the belts need replacing?

If the settings of the belt is correct and it doesn't get damaged by stones, it will last very long, at least one or two years. But it is more than likely that sooner or later a little stone will destroy it. My outdoor track experience is two killed rear belts in three years (running nearly every weekend). So I would recommend to have at least one rear belt as spare. Otherwise outdoor you will not destroy many parts. Get some C-Hubs as spare, maybe some blades and enjoy your hobby

Hi Guys - Is there a preference for body shell to run? I'll be running outside medium grip asphalt. When I was racing a couple of years ago the go to bidy shell was the Mazda Speed 6, but I think there's another one out there people like. Apreciate any input. Thanks!

Hi, I need again your input.
Just broke my first C-Hub on my TC6.1. Our indoor track has hard guardrails.
When I order the spare parts is there something else that can break from time to time like the front arms or rear arms?

Thanks
Sascha

The only thing I broke so far are 2 hubs, 1 batteryholder (Side impact broke it ) and 2 spoolcups (after a crash - which was at near full speed).

I would take some spare spoolcups, hubs and front arms. That's about it. The car is pretty tough.

I'd also carry spare shock caps (plastic part) and blades.

I second the battery holder. Didnt break them forever, then broke 3 in one weekend of my first time on a indoor carpt track with hard boards.

Default New setup posted

I used Sean Cochran's car at the Speedtech GCR #5 at Tamiya a couple of weeks ago and it felt really good. I ran faster than I had ever run at the Tamiya track and the car was very easy to drive.

Unfortunately I have not yet tested it at any other track but Sean ran it at the ROAR Nats where he finished 4th so it should be pretty good on most outdoor tracks.
