Thanks.
Try HobbyTown in Redmond or Remote Control Hobbies in Woodinville first. They usually have a couple VTA options in stock.

Also, I have a lightweight Mazdaspeed 6 body cut for a TC6.1 that you can have. It'll be legal for novice. I'll bring it on Saturday.

EDIT: Both those shops will have a variety of paints in stock as well. You'll also probably want a pair of body scissors, and an X-Acto knife, too.

Sweet thanks, I'm thinking about getting a TC6.1WC and trying my hand at some racing for when I'm not driving my full scale car

Here is a pic of my WC-Version with Reflex parts:

This TC6-version really brings the car to a new level in easy setup work and looks!

I've seen several setups where the front arms are shimmed so that the front block has a thicker shim than the back one. This makes the arms sweep back. Is there a reason for this?

Looks great. What spur gear is that? The Associated one makes it impossible to adjust gear mesh with the spur in place.

Thanks,
Kane

You can adjust the mesh with the gear in place. Which gear are you using?

Forgive my noobishness, but what's a good gearing for a ROAR stock 17.5, specifically a Team Orion VST Stock/R10 Pro combo?

49/96 64P with a 17.5 Reedy Sonic.

Maybe I didn't try hard enough but I saw no way to get to the motor screws!

Thanks,
Kane

I use the hole on the right and the lower left one on the mount and can mesh mine fine.

Use the 3rd mounting screw hole as mentioned.
