Or just redrill 2 holes in spur if there is some place.
Also I recomend use 3 screws from nitros 8mm lenght for 2.5mm socket.

With 3 screws engine will not move

ah yes got it now, thanks!
just wonder how to mount poperly pinion?

make sure there is a little bit of play between the teeth (checked on whole circumference of spur gear!!) a paper thick space for 48dp if this is what you are using.

yes that is not a problem, just not sure where should be pinion, because flat surface on my motor shaft is too short for my pinion. And when i want to set it in one straight line, pinion goes like after that flat space... Hope you understand

Not really, what motor are you using and on a TC6 you should be able to fit every pinion, sometime you need to turn your pinion the other way, what is important is that the grub screw sits on the flat part of shaft.

speed passion, and it doesn't want to seat on flat surface always... Depends what pinion i have. Xenon makes pinion with 4 holes so is no pobs, but different doesn't.

From what I gathered so far , you run a 10.5t std with a 120A HW with a 30t pinion and a 87t spur (only thing not sure you did not mention)

For a 10.5t your gearing should be around 7.57 (87t spur and 23t pinion) why are you using a 30t??

nol i use 80 spur now, and 30 pinion. That track is very specific outdoor, with big corners, and is not great grip. 7.57 would be too strong. Why can't use 5.3? Motor temp is around 50-55 degree C.

By big corner you mean fast? regardless of grip you still need to have the good ratio to start and 5.33 doesn't sound right to me.

For grip you have to look at your chassis set up not your motor one.

A friend of mine is running your speedo with first HB 10.5t, he was running 87t and 29t (fdr 6) and this was not very good, our track is long and fast too.

He is running with a 10.5t LRP X12 now and we got him to reduce his pinion to 24t, his motor is getting a little bit too hot (fdr 6.96)

I think you should try a lower pinion, 25t to start, check your heat and see if you are faster, and eventually 22t pinion, do the same.

An other thing to consider is the set up of speedo, maybe it is not set correctly for your fdr.

I understand why your motor does not match properly with your spur, I have never tried this pinion/spur size personally.

Exactly, I run 7.57 with the RSpro, but it seems that the HW is a little different from our experience so far, maybe someone who is running the combo HW/LRP 10.5t can tell us more about it.

i was told to use that drive ratio, from drivers who race there, they use 6.2-5.7 but for me 5.3 suits better. I know i have to work on my setup and probably ill back to 5.7 or 6. That track is for nitro with longs straights and looong fast corners that's why don't need fast acceleration but fast car ok so still don't know how to set that pinion try to reverse it but it may touch belt!
