Oh, I see, instead of "popping" them on and off, you can just use your wrench to screw them out. Nice touch AE...

To reduce ball cup stretch. You take off a link by undoing the ball stud rather than twisting the ball cup off the ball stud.

Everytime the ball cup is removed from the ball stud and put back on it stretches a little and gets loose over time making things more sloppy.

Some people ream out the top of an enclosed ball cup so hex drivers can be used to remove the ball stud.

There might be other reasons as well but that's the main one I can think of.

Associated has a new website with the TC6 in it. No release date or price listed yet.

You must be joking! The car looks good but nothing new and radical about it. The TC3 was cutting edge when it was released.

Anyone know if there is a battery strap for the TC6 or is it only battery tape for this car?

Really don't like tape for battery hold downs.

I'm interested to see if the quality (fit and finish) is any better then my TC5. I hope so.

...and we can run ti-ni ballstuds now! Siiiiiiiick!

Im not sure if the sizes will be exactly the same as the TC5, but the part numbers for the ti-studs are asc31288 through asc31293.
