What would you do for low traction carpet?

I've got the kit settings up front and I've raised the roll center from 2-dot to a 3-dot in the rear. The car has decent traction, but it is too tight in the center of the corner. I would like the car to rotate through the center a little more. I have the heaviest sway bar up front and the lightest in the rear. I have 50 Losi shock oil up front and 45 Losi in the rear. I've also gone up one spring rate from kit on the front and rear. The rest of the setup is kit.

Thanks in advance.

Try not running the sway bars. I never liked sway bars. What caster you running and what camber?

I haven't tried it without sway bars. I'll give it a try.

4* caster
1.5* camber front
2.5* camber rear

Would shorter camber links help?

Go to 2 camber and shorter links in the rear and try 6 degrees. Car should be much better.

If you are really picky, you can mount 0's and 3's with lets say a 2mm metal shim from the bulkhead and the 0's give the car more track width because they bend out at the bottom a very slight amount. Some people think that they flex inwards while the car is in motion, could be true which would make those carbon pieces found earlier pretty nice.

3a front, to 0b rear (anti-dive) is a 2 degree caster change so it will lower your roll center quite a bit to just use 3a's over 0b's.

I used to like the idea of the plastic clips because they would brace the 0's against the bulkhead but I am using aluminum spacers and 3a's now because it was too much effort to crush the plastic equally around the entire car (too easy to have left/right toe off)

In addition to what Jeff said, and you want to run an anti-roll bar, don't run the heaviest up front if you are looking to get the car to rotate. A front bar reduces weight transfer to the front end in cornering, and 99% of the time will increase rear grip provided that you are not overloading the rear tires already. I would try 0b front and 1b rear roll centers, with either the kit silver/green springs and black roll bars, or blue/silver springs with no roll bars. 6 degrees of caster, 1.5 front, 2 deg rear camber. The higher in caster you go the less front static camber you need because you increase camber gain with caster.

Thanks for the info.

Going to be a busy weekend. I have a lot of things to try.
