That depends are you going to race the car or just run it in a parking lot and do you want Front drive touring or all wheel drive. if you go with a Front dive chassis get the Tamiya FF03 it has a lot of hop ups and body styles and motor and ESC options for example you can get a brushless system for the FF03 for around $100, 45to60A ESC and a 3300KV brushless motor. If you want all wheel drive get the Tamiya TA05 chassis also tons of hop up and body styles now with the TA05 you can get a faster motor like maybe a 4000KV+ motor. I hope this helps you out.

Dont forget to budget in a radio, decent servo, lipo batteries, charger, if your racing a transponder. Try and find a car your local hobby shop stocks parts for. Also see what cars the other racers at your track are using. You will have questions about your set-up and gearing ect.

Radio i have Dx3S .
Servo i will choose when i will get the car.
Lipo batteries - first a motor and than i will need help with it
Charger I have a graupner ultramat 16.
Transponder will be the last.
In Romania aren't many shop's for HB or Xray touring cars .
We have only one track and there aren't many racers.
Sorry for my bad english.

Try a TC5. Because the TC6 will be released soon, no one will be looking at the TC5s, so they will be available to you at a lower price. http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ouring-Car-Kit

Don't think you're going to get the kits you mention for 350$. Xray 009 are about 430 Euro. A T2R 009 maybe. Buying from Hong Kong or the US is going to incur shipping costs as well as import duties, so that's not an option either.
I think it's best to go to your local track and see what they run over there and what is the spares situation. It's no fun in waiting for two weeks for your parts to arrive.
And one last word. To put the car on the track fully race-ready, if you buy everything brand new, it will cost you about 1200$ to 1600$ depending on the quality of your gear and that is without the radio.
best of luck.

Actually, you have a very good Xray dealer in Bucharest just about to open a shop (I think they had the opening these days), AutoRC:

The Photon would be a good choice. Parts are inexpensive, the new kit comes with a chassis good for asphalt and second good for carpet, plus it's a great car.
nothing against an xray there awesome cars, i currently own 3, it's just the parts are expensive and if your starting out this is not the best car from that perspective.
