Good deal?
Been looking for an RC car and I bumped into one of my friend's buddy's selling his TC3. He's asking 150 for it and I want someone elses opinions since I'm new to on road cars.

i have seen the RTR TC3s for for $75 or less on E-bay and they were New in Box.

100 dollers is a bit more fair,i picked one up with the mamba 5700 kv brushless setup, and one lipo pack, for 250 bucks.

I'll see if I can get him to do 100.

you may want to concider holding up and getting a tc5 if you plan on racing it until you check out the track you plan on racing at and see how competitive it is and what they're running. the TC3 is a shaft driven car where as most of the new cars all run belt. I have seen tc5 minus electronics go for $150-250.

I let this one fall through. Not going to let this be an impulse buy so I'm going to wait for the right deal and make sure I have enough cash to get where I want haha.

Good for you passing on this one, speaking from experience I purchased a lot of stuff (junk) I had no use for that was before I started to research and made up my mind as to what I wanted to race. I stuck with front drive chassis cars (FF and M chassis) I just like the dynamics of the front drive chassis. Good luck in your quest for the right car.

150 is WAY too high. The brushed electronics and Nicad batteries in that care are just about worth 0. I bought a like new AE TC4 for $75.
