GT1 is 325mm wheel base and GT2 is 360mm wheel base.

Parts wise, the difference is the chassis and front/rear dog-bones

Itīs all sold out of GT2 bodys all over internet.
Plenty of GT race bodies here, just made another 200 of them last week.

Get in touch with "Christer", he should have some available right there in Sweden for you.
Good luck!

I was thinking of buying an electric 8th scale GT car until I saw those bodies. I just don't see how they could even be considered GT. My idea of GT is somewhat realistic and like their full size counterparts. Those are just door stops, or wedges. They make me think of 8th scale nitro more than 8th scale GT. Might as well just convert a Evolva to electric. Are there any rules to this class to restrict bodies? If so I am surprised a separate wing, and roof height is not part of it. I am just researching this class though to see if it is for me or not.

We've been racing GT cars on the tracks since 2007, they're a blast!

The whole "scale look" argument is secondary to the durability of GT chassis and construction.

Single greatest thing about them is they're stronger than all other conventional (200mm & 1/8 scale) on-road cars on the track.

That's the real reason they've become so popular. Can't win if you dnf.

See ya at the races!

So the main point to this class is to be durable tanks...You should say, you can't win if you hit stuff. Don't hit stuff and you are good, simple. Especially with a car you can see very well all the way around even the biggest tracks. Plus you can look good doing it by running a GT body instead of a wedge. I am really hoping for this class to take off locally though. I just hope it doesn't follow the wedge body trend you are showing, if so this class isn't for me.

No, I only race electric. The only time I run into the nitro side is Kraceway.

Donovan,

I figured you being from Florida you would know Jaquin Desoto of Team Desoto holding the white Warrior on the podium.

Here's a nice pic of Desoto when he won the very 1st GT World Championships back in 2010.

Jaquin Desoto, Mike Lyday and Juan Blaylock are all very accomplished GT racers.

See ya at the races!

No idea what any of that has to do with anything I asked You have a PM rather than messing up a good and informative thread.
