I am still trying to figure out best ride height and suspension settings on my car.

General rule of thumb.. you don't want your car too low. If your car bottoms out it means you don't have traction.

My ride height at rear right now is 18" and front is 14".

What car are you running? Post some picts so we can see why you aren't able to lower the car.

Go buy some DM 1 spec rear and front springs then you can have more adjustments and DM 1 front and rear bumper. The body mount is in the bumper then you'll be set.

If you're on a budget, just put some plastic spacers in your shock bodies to make them shorter. They should go below the valves which raises the shock shaft up in to the shock body. Then use shorter shock springs.

If your not on a budget go for the ofna dm-1 shocks. They work great!

Ooops I forgot those springs will not work on your 16mm shocks, they only work on 13mm shocks.
