The charger I have can only charge 3s & 4s packs at a maximum of 4A. For everything else it can charge up to 6A.

Yes, I wanted to make a motor mount, the way I wanted, cost me 2k,but
I did it myself, first time using a milling machine, I've done some lathe work before,boring the hole for the bearing is the hardest part, everything after
that is easier.

I like the Tekin 2650 running it in sensor mode is the way to go. It makes it a lot easier drive.

Mechanical, you'll gain brake bias and if tuned right, it'll out perform motor braking. Front brakes generally require more braking force vs rear.

You should add some weight to that car, like 5 lbs to make sure it stays on the ground

Joat, that looks amazing!. I like how you have that cf top plate to tie the chassis together for more rigidity. Do you think those pieces would fit a dm1-sped ?. Would love to get something like for my dm1.

Probably not, the orginal gtp's where setup like that, it is stiff, even with my cnc 4mm chassis there alot of flex, the newer ones have the braces to the chassis and I know theres got to be alot of flex,dont know why they changed it, if I had one or an exact copy of the mounting locations / clearence to items I could do it, but SNR would be better for it he has cnc, mine is basically hand cut on my mill.

I'm almost finished with my hot bodies ve8 setup, but have a question. I also have a slash....are most gt8tracks allowing them to run with the big gt8's? How are they being motored/geared/classed?

The slash would be categorized as GT8 lite and if enough lites participate, they should run separately, if not, then together w/ the regular GT8'S. Motors are still open to keep the classes easy to enter. Gearing for GT8 lite's really depends on what motor you plan on running and how much speed and runtime time you want to get out of it. You just gotta watch those temps! Good luck! Post some pics up of your ve8 if u can!
