Dan,
I agree on the “slippery slope” concept.

What I’ve found after nearly four years of racing these GT cars is the need for “Spec & Open” classes.

“Spec” being the cost effective, level playing field that offers an excellent “entry level” to grow the GT class into a more “Mainstream” view and acceptance.

The “Open” class is for the hard-core racer with the need to speed at any cost; or those that might already have equipment that doesn’t conform to “Spec” structure.

I believe both classes can co-exist very well, by feeding growth to each other and seem to be an excellent option for the health & future of our sport.

Hey guy's I just got 4 different bodies because I wanted something a little different. The one's I purchased are made by BYSM but there is another company called Delta Plastiks that also makes bodies that fit the GT8 class chassis. You can find them here.
Rcmodelstore

Shipping will be crazy but if enough of y'all get an order together it might be worth it.

Yep...Check EBAY!

Pinoy69racer...are you gonna join us in Corona (3rd weekend next month) to race?

They're also gonna be running right down the 405 from you on the first SUN in H.B.

Either way, I hope you make it out to join us.

When I got my bodies there were some out of stock but since then those are back in stock so it looks like they are still getting new ones in.

I got the SM1, SM13(x2), SM9
