Ive seen some guys put decals on them to make them look real.

PMT rubbers come on a dish wheel with a PMT monogram on them.. they're ugly as heck.. but its a hell of a tyre.. I the offer spoke on 1/10 scale and 1/5 scale .. but for 1/8 scale rallye they discontinued it..

Im going to try sweeps as soon as they get the new rims in stock.. theyre pretty funky looking.

I converted a TRF801 to GT. I designed my own shock towers with assistance of SNRScion.

Other option would be to use front towers all around.

You can use the front buggy dampers at all four corners. However, You will need to use firmer spring rates for a road going car.. Which can be hard to come by.. So you might just want to get the Ofna DM-1 / Kyosho iGT shocks and springs.

Default Corvette: To Wing or not to Wing

I run on a pretty big split level parking lot, topping out around 60-63 on the front straight.. Im debating if i will be beneficial to use the win on my corvette Looks cool with or without it but concerned about aerodynamic drag for top speed and/or losing the downforce that it gives for handling

Thoughts???

Hey Guys,

Hobbytown Corona is my local track to race these 1/8th buggy based on road cars. We should have a pretty good turn out Sept 19th to run them. Come on out and and have some fun with us.

Why don't just try it out? I assume you will see a noticeable difference in handling. I've lost my wing in racing conditions a couple times and it makes the car to handle awfully.

You would be surprised how much that wing plays when it comes to handling. When I first got into this hobby I thought the wing was just for looks, until I lost it in a race. The back end would become loose around sweepers and carousel turns.

You want all the shocks to be the same size, preferably short shocks.
