What a coincidence, I ride right past their offices when I go cycling.. On my way back this am, was thinking I should stop in there and see if they had any in stock.

Where did this even come from? I didn't even know there was something on the horizon. Great news either way.

Yeah, it was a shock to us yesterday when we received the Press Release. The email I received said the car was influenced by all the talk and "home" conversions on the internet, so OFNA is definitely listening to us!

pfffft. Just after I went with the GTP2 Oh well,

(I am throwing a small pity party for one... I'll get over it soon enough)

In all seriousness, an E-DM1 is a good thing.

We made some changes to the car before we brought it over, of course there was one already made but we wanted to have more room for motor varieties and battery selection, we thought side by side batteries were taking alot of room for motor config. But we think you should be pleased with the performance of the DM-1e and of course we will still have the Ultra as a better budget car for those guys that just want to go fast for some sraight line speed.

Good thing I sold my gtp2e , the dm1 I have always wanted but had a hard time finding a bl conversion lately. I see the price is $259 , is that correct bc tower lists it at about $100 more for the dm1 e?

In what way do you expect the new DM1e to be beter then the GTp-2e?

The DM-1 offer more set up changes on the car, way more than the Ultra so if you don't like to adjusts too much than the Ultra is the car, but if you want roll centers, wheel base and length changes multiple shock angles or shock tower changes, there's alot to list and to work on towards getting the car of more of want you want out of it, like buggies to handle the more brutal trakcs for 1/8th. I loved the nitro Dm-1 and now the E is commming it will be just as killer to drive.

I am looking for perfection. If that means I have to go with a car with more setup posibilities that's fine. But when both cars are dialed to max perfection which one is the beter handling car on an average road?
As an example I have a RC8e and a MBX6e. They are similar cars but the Mugen handles way better (out of the box) in any condition and it's hard to tell why honestly.
SO if you take the DM1e would it require more work to get it to run well (or beter then the GTP2) or is it better out of the box too?
