Thanks. I was hoping for excellent tire wear.

I didn't get to do ALL what i wanted to do, since there were only 2 GT8's at teh track. basically, Surf City has moved down the lot and can now be BIGGER.(195x90') YES!!! IT is HUGE! Formerly 170x70, Bigger lanes, faster, more fun layouts. WE will have to wait until next month to try it out! Oh boy it's ON!!!

I hope you have stronger track barriers planned as well. Those GT8s really tear up the track.

It will be on like Donkey Kong when all the GT drivers from down southern cali show up in August to race in Corona. Will give you this month to practice for next month.

YEP!!! On and crackin!!!

Race days are my practice days as we're only out once a month at the 3rd sunday. lol Most times it's the first qualifier. Hopefully I can get some wheel time at surf city's new layout as well as the other tracks available in SoCal to race these awesome cars.

This coming Corona race should be a whole lot of fun as well. The whole Team Nitronic crew will be out in full force representing the GT8 class. Who's gonna take the crown this month.....Losi, Tekno, SNR, Ofna, Tamiya, Mugen, Kyosho, HPI or ???? We'll see in a couple of weeks!

I can vouch for the speed available on the straightaway on the new layout at Huntington Beach, as I had the only GT8s on the track Sunday. Even the two speed DM-1 conversion had a chance to stretch it's legs on that straightaway. Traction was excellent all day(PMTs worked great) for all classes.

See ya'll in Corona!

It's seems like PMTs are the winners here in SoCal. I may not win but they do provide very good traction so I don't look as bad when come in last.

PMT's are Definitely the King of California GT8. I have yet to try any other tyre that offers amazing grip and at the same time long lasting wear. With such performance, I'm willing to forgive the ugly rims lol.
