Charlie, I wish I could make it... My wife is leaving Monday for Brazil and will be gone for 3 weeks.. She wants a quality time Sunday lol... I tried selling her on HB, the beach etc... She didn't buy it lol.

So I'm wondering if your surprise is what I think it is?

+1 I hope HPI comes out with their own GT, because it would mean some new GT bodies.. And we all can agree that we definitely need those!

That is customer service and they now have a customer for life.

If you are a GTE racer running a Losi, their springs willl let you get the ride height much lower without compressing the spring or using the droop screw.
I also use their springs for my 8ight conversion. The STIFF springs is what I went with. They are OUTSTANDING, and helped me become a contender vs also raced.

I'm still on my original set of PMT's. As far as racing, prob have 5 races days on them.. But I've owned this set for 4 years! They have a lot of bashing hours on them as well.

Had another good day out at Kissimmee Raceway. Definitely noticed my driving improved. I now have a good feel for how the car behaves.

That brings up a tuning question I have, since I don't know thing 1 about on-road tuning. I noticed that if I coast into tight corners (have drag brake set 20%) I can turn really tight but slower of course. If I try to go in on the throttle a bit the car tends to understeer (is the term push?) Coming out of the corner on-power seems better, but still some understeer.

What would be the first thing to adjust to have more on-power steering and reduce the understeer?

EDIT: According to the Hudy On-Road Setup guide I downloaded more caster means decreased steering at entry and more steering mid-corner and exit. This may be a problem, since my GT is a buggy conversion with full buggy caster. Unfortunately I don't really have any way to change this, already using the B hingepin holder to reduce caster. Short of getting a new chassis with no kick-up, what else can I do?

I used to run with drag break and turned it off and have had better results. What position are your shock towers? Try standing them up eg outer whole for more steering. At present mine are fully upright and I have great steering.
