In my humble opinion, I would keep all the GT-8 running together for now, and make sure the class grow in population first before separating them into a regular and "lite" class. I think Charlie mentioned that we are already going to break into Expert and Sportsman next month, so if we break it down further to lite and regular, we might spread out this just growing class too much. Just my thoughts

Good idea but I'm not sure what looks worse, a scratched up fugly wheel after a good race or a scratch up sticker on a fugly wheel after a good race??

I think it would get great. It would give more guys chance to run more then one gt8..I would run both classes and I am sure alot more will as well. I can see four of the guys that ran gt8 running gt8 lite as well as my self.

Lets take baby steps guys. 2 classes is PLENTY for now. =) Remember, not matter that car someone runs in racing, someone will always have an advantage/disadvantage on the. That and factor in you still have to go through traffic for 7 minutes.

They are a bitch to mount. Try to cut off the inside lip of your 1/8 scale rims and rough it up good before gluing the tires.

See the problem is Ofna bought those tires direct from PMT 3 years ago, and I can't sell them to you guys, it for office use only and they are very hard to come by.

Sorry Raman it not up to me.

It's no problem man.. Just messin with ya.

I'll have to draft another email in Italian telling them we want some nice rims on their awesome tyres.

They used to offer BBS style but diacontinued it due to durability / breakage. But they still offer them in the 1/5 scale.. And those cars weigh 20 lbs +.. so it doesn't add up.
