Had some fun out at Kissimmee Raceway today (of course I forgot my camera
). I was the only one there with a GT, but it was awesome just to get out on a real track. Car ran great, maybe a little hot, but it was like 95F out and the track was temped at 135F at it's hottest. Motor got to about 165F, ESC a bit less, so a little higher than I like but still safe. Some of the 1/10 TC guys were coming off at 200F+!!!
I actually did a lot better at driving than I thought I would. Started out just focusing on going consistent instead of fast, and by the end of the day I was making pretty quick laps. One run I used my EagleTree datalogger, max current spike down the straight was 90A producing 1225W power.
Lot's of the 1/10 TC guys were interested in the GT and I directed them to this thread, so hopefully we get a few more converts.
