No show I don't know why it was a really low turn out. I think GLARC is racing this weekend I might go out their and do some testing.

We will be @ occircuit's corona race on June 19th in full force and will have some new entries into the GT8 class!
Do you really need roar membership to run @ glarc? Curiosity kills me!

I think there were multiple races going on this past weekend. And being this was a makeup race for last sun, aka non raceday for OC CIRCUIT, turn out could have been better. But Charlie was gracious enough to support the racers that did show. We still had a blast. MOD MOD MOD is sooooo much fun.

Most racers that raced GT8 were plagued with issues this weekend. Me inlcuded. The screws that hold my 2650 to the motor mount backed out, therefore stripping the spur gear. No available parts at the hobby shop to repair, so my mickey mouse fix at trying to get the spur gear run-able failed as soon as I pulled the trigger in the main. DNS for the main. Too bad too, SNR was about to get the smack down.

With the level of comp getting better, it's making everybody faster. I was able to pull low 12's in the quals.

Finally got a motor for my GT, a Tekin that I bought on the forums here. It's supposed to arrive today so I'm going to finally get to run my GT, just some testing in the street, but I've been waiting a long time to finally get everything together!

I talked to the guys at Superior Hobbies and they say they are going to be running at Kissimmee Raceway on June 5. I'm going to try to get my car dialed in there. If anyone else in central Florida could make it that would be great, they said right now there aren't really any others running GT's there.

I was all fired up to do some road testing after work, and then the brand new SR300 RX I bought turned out to be a dud right out of the box Called Horizon and they are sending one out first thing tomorrow, no questions asked, so I can't complain too much.

Here are some pics, RTR minus the RX.

You car looks great, hope it gets sorted out, looks fast!

Let me know if there are a couple of other GT cars thinking about attending and maybe I swing by to run a few laps with ya with my hotrod. I'll be running nitro, if that cool?

The direct drive outrunner is pretty neat, bet it has lots of torque. How do you adjust gearing though? Do you think there is still enough gear reduction in the drivetrain without a center diff?

Also, is that FRP used for the chassis?
